ELECTION NEWS – Don’t leave your vote to chance.

If you requested an absentee ballot for the November 3 General Election, the ballots are in the mail. Make sure to check your mailbox regularly, and if you do not receive yours soon, reach out to your municipal clerk’s office for assistance. Track your ballot and stay informed about its status by visiting MyVote.wi.gov.

•Voters must register to vote before requesting an absentee ballot.
•All eligible WI voters may request an absentee ballot be mailed to them for any reason.
•Voters may register to vote and request an absentee ballot by visiting MyVote.wi.gov.
•WI is a voter ID state, and voters must produce a valid ID to receive a ballot.

Absentee ballots must be returned to your municipal clerk’s office, or to central count, if applicable, no later than 8:00 p.m. on election day to be counted. Do not delay; complete and return your absentee ballot today.

The Milwaukee County Election Commission, within the Office of the Milwaukee County Clerk, brought election information and voter registration services directly into the community.

During National Voter Registration Day and throughout the following week, election officials connected with residents at community locations, helping people register to vote, check their registration and get answers to their election questions.

The Milwaukee County Election Commission held voter registration and election information events across the city for three days in celebration of National Voter Registration Day on Sept. 15.

Today is the last stop of the Milwaukee County Election Commission's three day voter registration and outreach effort, taking place as part of the National Voter Registration Day!

Today, our staff will be at the Marcia P. Coggs Health & Human Services Center (1230 W. Cherry Street in Milwaukee) from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. providing residents with access to trusted election officials who can answer questions about elections and assist them with the voter registration process. Residents will also be able to check their voter registration status as they prepare for the upcoming General Election on November 3rd.

Yesterday's stop was the Milwaukee County Veterans Service Office, and this past Tuesday the staff was at the Milwaukee County Courthouse rotunda. This three day effort is part of the continuing voter education and outreach campaign that our office proudly conducts, with the goal of ensuring that every single eligible person casts their vote on election day.

National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, September 15. The Office of the Milwaukee County Clerk will host voter registration events throughout the week to help residents register to vote, update their information, and get trusted election information ahead of the November 3 General Election.

Join us Tuesday at the Courthouse Rotunda, Wednesday at the Veterans Service Office, or Thursday at the Marcia P. Coggs Health & Human Services Center.

The August 11, 2026 Partisan Primary is in the books. You can find the unofficial results on the Milwaukee County Clerk’s page. The results will be certified official following the official election canvass, which begins this Thursday.
