It's a busy week to close out September. Can you believe it's the end of the month already? We're ready to hang with you all at storytimes, art programs, a genealogy intro, a movie, even a Taylor Swift party! Learn more about all these events at westallislibrary.org/events.

This really is our last construction update. The parking lot is finished. There is still one entrance (off Schlueter Parkway) that is being worked on. However, access to the book drop and pick-up lockers is restored!

Staff will continue backdating returned materials throughout the weekend for those who were avoiding the construction and holding on to library items. On Monday we will resume our normal check-in procedure.

Thank you for your patience during the months the parking lot was in disarray. We hope the surface and lighting improvements will help our patrons with disabilities, and caregivers navigating strollers and wheelchairs, access the library easier.

Lately at the library I have:
- Used a study room to work with a tutoring student.
- Brought my therapy dog for the kids to read to her.
- Looked up some books on a country I'd like to visit.
- Picked up a packet of lettuce seeds.
- Borrowed a NYT best seller book.
- Borrowed a yard game and puzzles for a family birthday party.

What have YOU used the library for recently?
*Not all libraries offer the same services. Check with your library to see what resources they have -- and visit some others too! Your library card from any public library in Milwaukee County lets you borrow from any other library in the county.

I don't have a library card, and I signed up for a temporary digital card online yesterday. I tried signing into Hoopla, but it wouldn't let me in. Will it work with a temporary digital card? Thanks!!
Nice work with the Libby app! Very easy to use, great interface, and a great e-reader too.
