Somali Youth & Family Development Center We empower Somali youth and families to grow stronger and healthier through youth mentoring, family education, and connections with community resources

Our current programs include:

Somali Girls in the Kitchen – Learning how to cook healthy, nutritious and quick meals, with one-on-one mentoring. An ongoing course held the first and third Tuesday of the month from 5:00-7:00 pm

Women’s Support Group – Monthly discussion group covers multiple topics that promote the health and well-being of families as well as helping women nurture themselves and learn about healthy living. Held the second Tuesday of the month from 6:00- 8:00 pm

At SOMFAM, we believe Eid should be a time of happiness, dignity, and togetherness for everyone. Many parents are counting on the community to help put smiles on their children's faces on Eid Morning.
