A huge thank you to Catholic Charities Twin Cities team members Jessica and Patrick for leading a child verbal de-escalation training last month for Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board staff at the Minneapolis Institute of Art.
During the summer, Minneapolis parks become one of the largest providers of youth programming and day care services in the city. With many seasonal staff stepping into these important roles, training like this helps equip them with practical tools to support children, build positive relationships, and create safe, welcoming environments for all.
We’re grateful to Jessica and Patrick for sharing their expertise and helping strengthen the support system for Minneapolis families and children.
