Attention Hatfield Families!

WHAT A WAY TO KICK OFF OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR!

Hatfield, you brought the ENERGY today! I hope our students had as much fun as I did kicking off our PTO Color Run for Fun – Field Trips for Everyone Fundraiser!

Now the real fun begins! Be sure to check your email and your child’s folder for all the information you need to get started. And here’s the best part… students can earn an INSTANT KICKOFF PRIZE just by sharing their fundraising link! Every donation gets us closer to some BIG prizes—including the chance for our students to COLOR BOMB THE PRINCIPAL!

I’m hoping to stay clean… but something tells me that may not be in the cards. 😬🤣 Every donation makes a difference and helps us provide bigger and better field trip experiences for our Hatfield students.

We invite everyone at Hatfield to wear BLUE this Friday, August 21st as we celebrate our next Color Day together!

Say CHEESE! 📸 Picture Day is coming to Hatfield Elementary next Wednesday, August 26!

Our friends from Inter-State Studio will be here to capture those special school pictures and memories. We are excited to see all of our Hatfield students dressed and ready for their big picture day!

Learning comes to life at Hatfield Elementary when our students are encouraged to observe, ask questions, think deeply, and discover the world around them!

Kindergarten students in Ms. Ramey's class explored apples through hands-on observation and inquiry...and even explored a new vocabulary word thanks to a classmate - "DENSITY!" Wow, Kindergarteners!

Mrs. Whaley's Second Grade students engaged in a Four Corners interactive activity, sharing ideas, defending their thinking, and learning from one another.

Mrs. Randolph's First Grade class practiced phonics through a fun Magic Finger Writing and Sounds activity, building strong literacy skills while making learning engaging and interactive.

Hatfield students are growing as problem-solvers, communicators, and teammates! We aren't just teaching academic skills...We're building tomorrow's leaders, thinkers, and collaborators! Our students are always learning, always growing, and always discovering what they're capable of!

To kick things off, we invite everyone at Hatfield to wear RED this Friday, August 14th as we celebrate our first Color Day together!

What an AMAZING first week at Happy Hatfield!

Our Hatfield students have already jumped right into learning! From establishing classroom routines and procedures to practicing writing skills, reviewing math concepts, and building strong classroom communities, our students have been hard at work. Even more importantly, they've been learning what it means to work together as a TEAM.

At Hatfield, one of our biggest goals is teaching the value of collaboration. We believe teamwork helps us become not only stronger learners but also kinder, more compassionate humans. Through engaging lessons, exploring great literature, asking questions, experimenting, playing, and learning that it's okay to fail forward, we're growing together as one big Happy Hatfield family.

A huge shoutout to our incredible teachers, instructional assistants, office staff, custodians, cafeteria team, bus drivers, and everyone behind the scenes who made this first week so successful. And thank you to our amazing families for your partnership and support. We couldn't do it without you! Here's to an incredible year of learning and growing together. It's going to be the BEST YEAR EVER!
