Thank you to everyone who helped bring a patriotic touch to Grand County in honor of America’s 250th anniversary.

The Grand County Republican Party would like to thank members and inmates of the Grand Count Sheriff’s Department, VFW Commander Matt Keogh, Commissioner Melodie McCandless, Commissioner Bill Winfield, Shalee Holland (Bryant), Grand County Republican Party Secretary Trudy Hentges, Vice Chair Dan Stott, and Party Chair AJ Throgmorton for helping paint the patriotic-themed crosswalk.

It was encouraging how warmly the project was received by residents walking and driving by while the work was being done. The kind words, honks, waves, and support were a great reminder of how much civic pride means in our community!

We are grateful for everyone who helped make this happen and for the continued support of residents who care about honoring our country, our community, and the values that have carried America forward for nearly 250 years.

Thank you again to VFW Commander Keogh, Shalee Holland, Commissioner McCandless, Commissioner Winfield, Secretary Hentges, Vice Chair Stott, and Chair Throgmorton for your time and effort.
