Does anyone have any extra LEGO pieces or bases they would be willing to donate? We need the square bases and extra pieces to help them build whatever their imagination leads them to create during visitations

It's that time of year at Just HOPE 🎄♥🎄

If you'd like to adopt a child, siblings, or family for Christmas, please message me! If you'd like to contribute but don't want to shop for anyone, please consider donating a gift card for our teens that often get overlooked. They wrote out their gift card wish lists and we have their results below. Thank you for being a blessing!

Gift card ideas:

The Ivy Room in Mocksville
Bath & Body Works
Starbucks
Dunkin Donuts
Walmart
La Carreta in Mocksville
McKay's Book Store
Love of Retro in Mocksville
Chic Fila
East Coast Wings in Mocksville
Dollar Tree
Bojangles
Huffman’s of Mocksville

We recommend food gift cards being $15 to cover an entire meal with tax.
Other gift cards can be in $25 increments. Sometimes these gift cards are all our teens get because they don’t get adopted like the littles. Please mail to or drop off at 814 South Main Street in Mocksville ♥️

The Dignity Project believes that every person deserves to feel clean, cared for, and respected—regardless of their current circumstances. For individuals living outdoors or without stable housing, everyday necessities such as soap, deodorant, clean socks, oral-care products, and weather protection can be difficult to obtain.

Through this project, we will provide discreet, waterproof bags filled with essential hygiene and personal-care items. Each bag is designed to be practical, portable, and respectful, allowing recipients to carry what they need without drawing unwanted attention. These bags offer more than supplies—they offer comfort, confidence, and a reminder that each person is seen and valued.

Items needed:
Waterproof backpacks
Waterproof hygiene bags
Hotel/Trial size shampoo & conditioners
Deodorant
Toothpaste
Toothbrushes
Body wipes
Socks
Chapstick
Bar soap
Rain ponchos
Hand warmers
Emergency blankets
Combs/brushes

If you use our Amazon List, it will ship directly to us!

I want to introduce everyone to a very discreet project we've been blessed to participate in. As we all know, the homeless population has been steadily growing over the last year in Davie County, and with no public shelter, surrounding counties have been taking hard hits on our behalf. We have encampments EVERYWHERE, but mostly on the Rowan and Iredell County lines.

HOPE on the Ground is simple: meeting the basic needs of those who are homeless or at-risk with donated items. Helping how we can, who we can, when we can, where we can, with what we have.

Tuesdays - Ashley Warehouse/Panera Bread parking lot in Salisbury, NC from 6pm until we run out of supplies

Thursdays - Tractor Supply parking lot in Statesville, NC from 6pm until we run out of supplies

Saturdays - Davie & Iredell encampments from 11am until we run out of supplies

Current needs: Cash donations for non-perishable food and hygiene items; men's clothing and shoes (all sizes); tents; sleeping bags; propane; blankets; any camping equipment or supplies; and volunteers/mentors to help distribute items or prepare meals.

Referrals: Alternative housing options, mental health programs, and drug/alcohol resources
