🏆 WORLD CHAMPION! 🏆

Congratulations to Walton EMC's Harry Ruiz for being named Overall World Champion Apprentice at the 2026 International Lineman's Rodeo! Harry competed against approximately 400 apprentices from around the world and came out on top, earning the No. 1 spot!

The impressive finishes didn't stop there! Phillip Mork claimed 2nd place overall, while Mason Tolbert earned 4th place, giving Walton EMC three of the top five spots!

Our apprentices also earned several impressive placements in individual events:

What a day in Kansas!

The International Lineman’s Rodeo brought together hundreds of competitors from across the country today, and Walton EMC was right in the middle of the action.

We have 8 apprentices and 1 journeyman team competing, and it’s been exciting to watch our guys put their skills to the test.

Tonight is the awards banquet, and we’re hoping to bring home some hardware!

Walton EMC linemen are headed to Overland Park, Kansas, to compete in the 2026 International Lineman’s Rodeo!

They’ll go head-to-head with linemen from around the world in a series of challenges that put their skills, speed and safety practices to the test.

Help us cheer them on as they represent Walton EMC on the international stage! 👏
