Mrs. Wolfe & Mr. Knotts students were ready to compete and show what they know during the Mathematics Olympic Challenge! Students with their partners had to create an angle relationship that is seen in parallel lines cut by a transversal. They had to apply and utilize their kinethic abilities to demonstrate their understanding of the math standards they have been focusing on. The quickest out of 3 advanced to the next round until there was one left.

⚙️ Chosen as 12th seed - upset the #5 seed to make the Quarterfinals
🏆 Won the Judge's Award

833OP - Poison Dart Frogs
⚙️ Went 6-3 and finished 10th in Qualifications
⚙️ Finished 4th in Skills with their season high of 69 (with the #2 programming score)
⚙️ Made it to Semifinals🏆 Won the Middle School Amaze Award

8330X - Sci-Botics
⚙️ Went 7-3 and finished 11th in the High School Division
⚙️ Finished 7th in HS Skills with a season high 93
🏆 Win the High School Amaze Award

Our Warriors came together for a special attendance award for our Skyview Elementary School Rockets! Four teams made up of students from our Girls Who Code Club, Middle Hawks TSA, and Westwood Student Senate planned and ran a hands-on Robolink Drone experience! Students learned safety principles, how drones work, what aerial drone competitions are, how drones are coded and much more! Thank you Mrs. Wheeling for sending this project our way, a great time of learning was had by all!

Another GREAT weekend for Westwood Robotics! 🤖🔥

We wrapped up the regular season with a strong finish, and our teams showed up in a big way!
• The Kolony finished 9th in Qualifications and selected Poison Dart Frogs as their alliance partner for the elimination bracket. Together, they upset a strong #3 alliance and advanced all the way to the semi-finals! 💪
• Hydra-Titans posted their season-high Skills score — way to keep improving! 📈
• The Poison Dart Frogs finished 3rd in Skills and have officially secured a spot at the State Championship! 🏆

We are so proud of the hard work, teamwork, and grit these students continue to show.

Now we wait… 🤞 March 1st can’t come soon enough as we look forward to the rest of the state invitations being announced!
