This evening, the MLVFD took delivery of a 2026 Pierce Saber to replace our aging 1999 engine. This apparatus consolidates suppression and rescue capabilities into a single unit, allowing us to streamline our response and get the right tools to the scene faster.
This engine is the result of more than three years of planning and production. We are thankful to the residents of Mountain Lakes for their continued support, and we look forward to serving our borough and surrounding towns with this apparatus for years to come.
Over the next several months, our members will be training on the new apparatus. We look forward to showcasing it at our upcoming special events.
