We celebrated the dedicated professionals who make up our Multidisciplinary Team at our annual MDT Appreciation Luncheon! Representatives from all five counties we serve joined us as we recognized their commitment to protecting children and supporting families throughout our community.

We were honored to recognize Twanza Conner, Adams County CPS Supervisor, as a 2026 MDT Member of the Year. Twanza’s dedication and service continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and families.

We also honored the late Hattie Covington, Franklin County CPS Supervisor, as a 2026 MDT Member of the Year. We lost Hattie earlier this year, but her compassion, dedication, and lasting impact will never be forgotten. It was our privilege to present her award to the Franklin County CPS team in her memory.

We are deeply grateful for every member of our MDT and the vital role they play in helping children find hope, healing, and justice. 💙

💙 Please help us welcome our newest team member, Ella Willow, to the Natchez Children’s Services family!

Ella has joined our team as our Family Advocate, where she will walk alongside children and non-offending caregivers during some of life’s most difficult moments. Her compassion, kindness, and heart for serving others make her a wonderful addition to our mission.

Quarter Two was one to remember at Natchez Children’s Services. 💙

From raising awareness during Child Abuse Prevention Month to hosting our largest Pickleball Tournament yet, being named the beneficiary of the Natchez Railway Charity Golf Scramble, receiving generous community donations, and sharing our mission on television and in Washington, D.C. - this season has been filled with incredible moments made possible by YOU.

We are deeply grateful to our volunteers, donors, board members, community partners, and everyone who continues to stand beside us in the fight to protect children and strengthen families. Together, we’re making a difference every single day.

As we look ahead to the third quarter, we’re excited to continue providing hope, healing, and advocacy for the children and families we serve. Thank you for being part of our mission. 💙

Leadership and advocacy go hand in hand.

Our Executive Director, Catherine McPhate, recently attended the National Children’s Alliance Leadership Conference in Washington, D.C., where she had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Bennie Thompson. These conversations help strengthen the work of Children’s Advocacy Centers and ensure the voices of children and families are heard at the national level.

We’re proud to have Catherine representing Natchez Children’s Services and advocating for the continued support of child abuse prevention, intervention, and healing. 💙

A big thank you to First Baptist Church Natchez for thinking of the children and families we serve! 💙

The wonderful kids and leaders from VBS donated a generous supply of snacks to Natchez Children’s Services, helping us keep our shelves stocked with comfort items for children during difficult times.
