Happy 🔥

Handling abrasive coal requires more than heavy steel—it demands thoughtful engineering at every point of contact.

Our fabrication team built this custom transfer chute for a coal-fired power plant in the southern United States. The interior is lined with chromium carbide overlay (CCO) to help protect high-wear surfaces from the continuous flow of coal.

A motor-driven rack-and-pinion system actuates the internal flop gate, providing controlled material routing within the chute.

From fabrication and wear protection to mechanical actuation, every component was engineered around the demands of the application.

This role is a great fit for someone who enjoys combining inside sales, customer service, and branch operations while working closely with customers, outside sales, service, warehouse, fabrication, and administrative teams.

Key responsibilities include:
🔴 Preparing quotes and processing customer orders
⚫ Supporting customers with product, pricing, availability, and delivery questions
🔴 Following up on quotations, orders, backorders, and sales opportunities
⚫ Supporting day-to-day branch operations and employee coordination
🔴 Assisting with inventory, shipping, receiving, and scheduling
⚫ Helping identify opportunities to grow ASGCO® product and service sales
