From high school volunteer to Summer IT Intern! 🚀💻

Please join us in giving a warm welcome (back!) to Lincoln Maxwell, a proud 2026 graduate of Needham High School! 🎓✨

Lincoln first joined the Council as a volunteer back in 2024, where he immediately made waves by helping us upgrade and improve our volunteer tracking system. We quickly realized just how much his tech talents could help our team.

Now that he's graduated, Lincoln is spending his summer with us as our Software Engineering and IT Intern. He’ll be working directly with the Council staff to help us learn how to leverage AI to improve our workflow and better serve the Needham community.

We are so excited to have your brains and energy on board full-time this summer, Lincoln! Welcome to the team! 🙌

A massive thank you to our local Scouts and everyone who contributed to this year’s Scouting for Food drive! 🎒🥫

Thanks to your incredible generosity, an amazing 858 lbs. of food was donated to the Needham Community Council Food Pantry.

We are so grateful for our community's dedication to neighbors helping neighbors! 💙

Looking for a welcoming, stigma-free space to relax and connect? Our Memory Café is a safe, social gathering designed for individuals living with dementia and their care partners. 💙

🎸 This Month's Activity: Musical Memories with John and Linda! Come enjoy acoustic guitar and beautiful vocal harmonies featuring hit songs from the '50s through the '80s.

🥦 Mobile Market is Today! 🚚

In partnership with the Needham Community Farm, our mobile market is officially visiting Needham Housing Authority neighborhoods from June through October!

While we travel to these specific neighborhoods for easier access, all food pantry families are welcome to stop by, visit, and shop for fresh produce and essential items.
