Negaunee Public Library The Negaunee Public Library provides informational, educational, and recreational services for the community in a pleasant atmosphere.

The Library offers:
New books and other materials in various formats;
More than 39,000 library items available, including books on CD/cassette, large print books, magazines, videos on DVD/VHS;
Interlibrary loaning;
Curbside services;
Local and regional newspapers, including: Marquette Mining Journal, Houghton Daily Mining Gazette, Green Bay Press-Gazette, and the Wall Street Journal;
the Negaunee

Iron Herald on microfilm;
Negaunee High School yearbooks;
Hundreds of e-books and digital audiobooks through Overdrive;
Computers with Internet access and word processing programs, and printing;
Wireless Internet access;
State and Federal tax forms;
Copy and fax services;
Guidance in obtaining reference and/or information materials, as time permits;
Story times for children (11 a.m. Facebook live);
Dungeons and Dragons for tweens and teens (contact library for more information);
Junior Teen Advisory Group (currently on hiatus);
Knitting group (1:30-3:30 p.m. Wednesdays);
and Summer Reading Programs for all ages.

If your children or grandchildren haven't signed up for Summer Reading yet, there's still plenty of time! We allow registration until mid-July, and we are replenishing choices in the book kits.

The fitness program we were going to hold this coming Monday at the West End YMCA - which was in the Marquette Monthly and on our calendars and flyers, but didn't get a Facebook event - has been canceled. We tried to book another instructor, but that has fallen through.

We apologize for the disappointment.

The first adult prize package is: coffee and a mug from Campfire Coffee , and two pasties from Iron Town Pasties ! Anyone 18 and older can give us a little book review of anything they read (including audiobooks) to enter to win.
