SAC Jonathan Tapp joined the New Orleans Police Department and Louisiana State Police in proactive messaging targeted at individuals who claim they are headed to New Orleans this weekend to hold street takeovers.

Law enforcement leaders stressed law abiding visitors are always welcome in the Crescent City. But they cautioned that anyone planning to come here to cause chaos or violate the law will face city, state, and even federal charges.

If you see suspicious activity in your neighborhood, don't hesitate to call 911 or the FBI at 1-800-CALL-FBI.
