🇺🇸We are proud to celebrate Freedom Week at NOMMA! 🇺🇸

Our cadets had the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations about freedom, citizenship, and what it means to uphold the principles that shape our nation as we welcomed Louisiana Department of Education Superintendent Cade Brumley and Assistant Superintendent Germain Gilson to campus.

At NOMMA, we are committed to Developing Tomorrow’s Leaders Today through academics, leadership, and citizenship. Our cadets learn about the founding principles of our nation, the United States Constitution, and the rights and responsibilities that come with citizenship, not just during Freedom Week, but every day.

Freedom isn’t free, but learning how to protect it is what we do best. 🇺🇸

Celebrate Freedom Week at NOMMA!

This week, we celebrate the founding principles of our nation and the freedoms protected by the United States Constitution.

As Louisiana public schools observe Celebrate Freedom Week, NOMMA cadets are reminded of the importance of citizenship, civic responsibility, and understanding the rights and responsibilities of every American.

Through Marine Corps JROTC, our cadets develop the knowledge, character, and leadership skills to make a positive difference in their communities.

🚌 NOMMA Bus Route Updates

To improve efficiency, we have adjusted some existing routes. Please review the updated routes carefully, as your child’s pickup location and/or pickup time may have changed.

Please have your cadet arrive at their designated bus stop 10 minutes early while our drivers adjust to the new routes and schedules.

CADET ORIENTATION BEGINS THIS WEEK!

The countdown is on! We can't wait to welcome our cadets back for the 2026-2027 school year.

📅 Mandatory Cadet Orientation Schedule
August 6: 10th Grade
August 7: 11th & 12th Grades
August 10: 8th & 9th Grades
August 11: 8th & 9th Grades

Arrival: No later than 7:30 AM
Dismissal: 3:05 PM

Cadet Orientation is an official school day, and attendance is mandatory. Cadets who do not attend will be marked absent, and those absences will count toward Louisiana's required instructional seat time.
