It's "Give Like Dolly Day" 9/25. You can help to continue the Imagination Library book program in Clinton County by donating to this fund which makes it possible for children ages birth up to 5 yrs. to receive free books in the mail each month. It costs approximately $31 to sponsor a child for the year. Donations can be made online at the Clinton County Foundation website (link in original post).

Dolly often called her Local Imagination Library Partners, like the Imagination Library of Ohio , the “true heroes” of her program. Donating builds community support and makes it possible for children in our community to receive books through Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library. We invite you to join her campaign on September 25 and "give like Dolly."

It was wonderful visiting with our community today and meeting some new people during New Vienna's Oktoberfest. Our library gave away free books, craft bags, temporary tattoos, pencils, erasers, bookmarks, and bracelets. Thanks to all those who stopped by our table to say hello.
