The HopeLine The HopeLine has been serving the needs of the South Bronx Community for over 30 years. The HopeLine serves families in need by fulfilling their basic needs.

Food Pantry
Each household receives food once a month. People feel less stress and burden when they do not have to worry about where their next meal will come from, and children who aren't hungry can concentrate better in school. Diaper Center
The first diaper distribution center of its kind in the Bronx, and one of a handful in New York City, mothers in need receive diapers once a month to help fulfill the gap when they cannot afford expensive diapers. Along with the diapers parents also receive wipes, baby food, and other baby essentials.

HUGE SPOOOKY SHOUTOUT to our new friends at Throggs Neck Kiwanis for hosting their Spooky Baby Shower that raised funds and awareness of The HopeLine.

Thanks to the passion of President Mariana Terranova, her home was transformed into a super fun Halloween haunt that welcome guests as they dropped by with 800+ diapers, monetary gifts, wipes, formula, and even a crib!

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Hamere from Healthix, Inc. to The HopeLine!

Representing Healthix’s Maternal and Infant Health Equity Collaborative, Hamere joined us as part of their work to raise awareness during National Diaper Need Awareness Week. Healthix is also researching a policy initiative exploring the inclusion of diapers and wipes in Medicaid coverage.

We’re grateful they chose to spend time volunteering with The HopeLine and supporting Bronx families! 💙
