Breastfeeding can be overwhelming and physically demanding for a new mom, so it’s important to have her back! 💗Dads play a huge role in breastfeeding success. And WIC is here to help you do so! Here are some tips to help support your breastfeeding partner:

🧹Lighten the chore load for your partner! Mom needs to focus on resting, healing, and nursing.
🥛Anticipate mom’s needs during feeding, like cleaning bottles and breast pumps and bringing her snacks and water!
👶Share baby duties! Make sure to handle non-feeding tasks like diapering and burping while mom rests.

📣 Back-to-School Immunization Clinics Are Here! The Licking County Health Department is bringing our Mobile Unit to a community near you, making it easy to get your child ready for the school year! 💉📚

Upcoming Clinic Dates & Locations:

🚐 Aug 27: Watkins Middle School (SWL) - 5:00–8:00 p.m.
🚐 Sept 1: Johnstown - 7:00-9:00 a.m. (at the high school football field)
🚐 Sept 2: Summit Station UM Church - 6:00-8:00 p.m. (6626 Summit Rd, SW, Pataskala)

📞 Scheduling Information: Call 740-349-6535 and select option 5 to schedule your child’s immunization appointment.

✔ Be sure to request the specific clinic location when booking
✔ Have your child’s insurance information and vaccination records ready
⏰ Please arrive at your scheduled time at the LCHD Mobile Unit.

No insurance? No problem. Through the Vaccines for Children (VFC) program, eligible children can receive vaccines at no cost. Let’s start the school year healthy and ready to learn! ✏️🍎
