🏃‍♀️🌿 Yesterday, the NJIT Cross Country Team traded miles for mulch, movement for stewardship, and helped Branch Brook Park Alliance care for the Extension Division of Essex County Branch Brook Park—from Heller Parkway to the Cherry Blossom Welcome Center.

With the same discipline and endurance they bring to the course, these student-athletes tended gardens, cared for the landscape, and took on the essential work that keeps the park welcoming and beautiful for all. ✨

Their service reminds us that beauty is never accidental. It is shaped by many hands, strengthened by shared purpose, and carried forward by people willing to give their time to something larger than themselves. 💚
