Over the last few days we have taken reports of residents receiving calls from a blocked number with the caller claiming to be an officer with the Newmarket Police Department. The caller goes on to tell the person they missed grand jury and have a warrant. Please know this is a scam. If you receive a call like this please hang up immediately. If you fell victim to this and gave the caller your personal information please reach out to us on next steps to protect yourself.

Gather is coming to Newmarket in September!

Two new Gather mobile market locations - coming in September!

We’re excited to announce two new Gather Mobile Market locations in Newmarket, NH starting in September (see start dates below), giving more neighbors access to fresh, nutritious food at no cost right in their community!

🚌 Fresh Food Bus at Lamprey Health Care in Newmarket, NH – 207 S. Main St.*
- Starting Thursday, September 3, 2026
- Time: 11:30am-12:30pm
- Frequency: Operating every other week

🥕 Mobile Market at Newmarket Community Church in Newmarket, NH – 137 Main St.*
- Starting Monday, September 21
- Time: 12:00-2:00pm
- Frequency: Operating every other week

Additional schedule changes: Starting in September, we will no longer be operating our mobile market at Dover Whittier Falls. We’re grateful to everyone who has welcomed us there and hope to see you at one of our other locations! Our Fresh Food Bus offers regular shopping opportunities in Dover including: Waldron Towers (behind the building) and Wentworth-Douglass Hospital (15 Old Rollinsford Rd). Check our schedule for days and times of operation.

Our next free Community Dinner is coming up on Saturday, September 19, from 5–6:30 PM in the NCC Fellowship Hall.

These dinners are simply a chance to gather with neighbors, share a meal, enjoy some conversation, and spend time in community. Come with family or friends, or come on your own. There’s a place for you at the table.

There is no cost to attend, and no RSVP is needed. Donations are gratefully accepted to help support future community meals.
