The Newport 10 Miler returns to Fort Adams on May 31st!

Run one of Rhode Island’s most scenic waterfront races while supporting the ongoing historic restoration of Fort Adams and helping expand public access for more beautiful community events in the future. Proceeds also benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Newport County.

Brand new this year: the Boots on the Ground for Heroes 5K Run/Walk at Fort Adams.

Run or walk a scenic course through historic Fort Adams State Park while honoring the 29 Rhode Islanders lost in post-9/11 service. Every step is a chance to remember, reflect, and come together as a community this Memorial Day weekend.

Registration is $35 and closes May 22.

Join us for the Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial honoring our fallen service members.

NEW THIS YEAR — Heroes 5K Run/Walk
Take part in the brand new 5K through picturesque Fort Adams State Park following a ceremony honoring Rhode Islanders lost in service. Registration is $35 and supports the Memorial and Operation Stand Down Rhode Island

Free admission for all other Memorial events and displays throughout the weekend.
