Save the date!

Next in our countdown to Marple Newtown Historic Day June 6th is the live performance of "They Signed It!" at the Square Tavern. Square Tavern Players will reenact the likely tavern patron responses to learning of the signing of the Declaration of Independence. Performances at 12:30 and 2pm. Visitors can enjoy a cup of Ale in the 1742 tavern room which served as the information hub of Newtown in 1776, engage with Loyalists, Patriots and Quakers, then take a guided tour. Free! (Some friends from the Spanish Conversation Group that met today! There were 15 of us all together!)

Join us at 10:00 am on the fourth Saturday morning of every month for a fun, informal conversation group - and at 6:00pm on the second Monday night of each month at Newtown Public Library!

Whether you studied Spanish in high school, love to travel, or speak Spanish at home, we would love to see you! Note: We try to speak Spanish throughout the meeting :D

Our goal is to practice and improve our language skills within a friendly community - in a safe space.
