• Financial Analysis – Regional Energy Entity
• Regional Bulk Fuel Assessment
• Critical Energy Infrastructure Needs Assessment & Implementation Plan

“Once I have this certification, I’ll be able to apply for a welding job locally. I’m already meeting with Kawerak to talk about working on my resume,” says Darrell Takak.

Kawerak hosted a shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) certification course in July, in partnership with Bering Straits Native Corporation, Norton Sound Health Corporation and Nome Public Schools. Over the course of three weeks, students practiced skills to achieve their final certification.

Kawerak, Inc., (Kawerak) a tribal consortium and non-profit corporation in Nome, Alaska, is soliciting proposals for Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) Facilitation and Independent Cost Estimation (ICE) services for the Kawerak Transportation Program (“KTP”).
