Congratulations to Alli Coneglio on graduating from Kent State University and returning home to Nordonia Hills City Schools as an Intervention Specialist at Rushwood Elementary.

Alli's journey started as a student at Nordonia High School, where she participated in the Nordonia Students Today, Teachers Tomorrow (NST3) program. That experience helped set her on the path to education and ultimately led her to Kent State University's Lead2Teach program, where she served as both a participant and a mentor.

Today, Alli becomes the first Kent State graduate to complete the full vision of our Grow Your Own partnership by returning to Nordonia to teach in the district where she once sat as a student.

We are proud to welcome Alli back to the Nordonia family and look forward to the impact she will have on the next generation of Knights.

On Tuesday morning, Mr. Eckenrode received a OHSAA Sportsmanship Report from the State. We are thrilled to report he received this for the “excellent sportsmanship and positive behavior towards Officials” at the Boys Baseball game on Monday. Mr. Eckenrode and Ms. Archer called them down to personally thank Coach Riley and our boys baseball team for outstanding representation of Nordonia!!

FEMALE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK AND STATE CHAMPION!!!
Congratulations to Nordonia's Haydn Paul on being named the Female Athlete of the Week and a State Champion in the inaugural OHSAA Girl's Flag Football State Championship
Haydn Paul in the state title game had three touchdown passes for 170 yards. Completed two of three extra point conversions. Led the team for the game winning TD pass. Started the game making an interception and sealed the game with an interception. On defense she also had 2 pass break ups, 3 flag pulls and a total of two interceptions!
