Voter Dollars will create better candidates and return politics to a culture of public service. If we Make Voters The Donors, we will empower everyday citizens without wealthy connections to run for public office. Through Voter Dollars, every voter will gain access to public funds to donate to candidates of their choosing. Candidates without wealthy connections can still raise millions, and we can return to a government of, for and by the people.

“The price of campaigning is just a very tough barrier for everyday people to overcome,” said Marina Pino, an expert on money and politics at the Brennan Center for Justice. “2014 was the first time in the country’s history that the majority of Congress were millionaires. And its members from the working class backgrounds comprise only 2% of Congress.”
