Sick of ICE terrorizing communities? Have you heard about the proposed Allegheny County ordinance “No Cooperation with ICE Ordinance”? When it is passed it will prohibit county employees from assisting ICE in a host of ways.

It’s time to contact our Allegheny County Council Representative Patrick Catena, County Council District 4 to let him know that we support this ordinance.

*ACTION TIME* There’s still a chance to fix it!!! Our U.S. Senator John Fetterman just crossed the aisle and voted with republicans to end the government shutdown without any concessions or compromise.

This would cause the Affordable Care Act subsidies to be revoked causing health insurance premiums to double and triple for millions across the country.

My understanding is that this plan also does NOT help SNAP beneficiaries or government workers receive back pay either.

ACTION: There is another final vote that has to be made to finalize this process. The Senators can change their vote. Call Senator Fetterman’s office now to tell him to vote against the republicans’ harsh (lack of) a plan.

We need health coverage to be protected in our country. Concessions and compromise needs to be made. Let’s not let the last 40 days of shutdown be in vain.

We did it!! PA voters took a stand for our freedoms at the ballot box, voting to retain all three PA Supreme Court Justices.

The fight for freedom (and basic needs like *food*) aren’t over for Pennsylvanians, but we’re grateful to have these Justices safeguarding our rights for another decade.

Congratulations to Justices Donohue, Dougherty and Wecht on their wins tonight!

Tonight Pennsylvania voters stood up for our freedoms and protected our independent courts.

Vote to retain our judges!! This is standard operating procedure 🙂 Don’t fall for the Republican lies.

The three judges on ballot for retention are Democrats have voted to protect voting rights, mail in ballots and abortion access in Pennsylvania.

If voting in paper ballot, be sure to flip it over because the judge retention are on the back.

Did you know that we have a secure drop box for mail in ballots close by in Moon? It’s too late to mail your ballot back. Instead you can:

1. Drop your ballot at the Moon drop box before 7 pm today.
2. Take all parts of your mail in ballots to the polls tomorrow and turn it in. You’ll be given a different ballot to complete at the polls.
