Odessa Fire Rescue is asking everyone to keep Captain Bryson Morris and his family in your thoughts and prayers as he begins his fight against cancer.

Captain Morris has faithfully served the citizens of Odessa for more than 12 years. Throughout his career, he has answered the call to help others during some of life’s most difficult moments. Now, Bryson and his family are facing a difficult journey of their own that will include surgeries, treatments, and travel to Dallas for medical care.

The fire service is built on brotherhood, compassion, and taking care of our own. We are asking everyone to help support Captain Morris and his family through prayers, donations, and by sharing this fundraiser through The Yard Foundation.

Every contribution will help ease the financial burden of travel, lodging, fuel, and medical-related expenses during his treatment. The fundraiser will run through May 18, and The Yard Foundation will match 3.43% of the total amount donated.

Thank you for supporting Captain Morris and the Morris family during this time.
