The tradition continues, The Veterans Watchmaker Initiative just completed its sixth year at the Middletown Peach Festival, and we love being one of the sponsors. We are proud to be a part of the MOT community. We made sure that Odessa was well represented.
Angus, Mike and I had a great time chatting with everyone who stopped by to learn about the school and some bought refurbished watches that the students have serviced.
It was a great time. Looking forward to next year.

For the second year, the incredible folks at the 1916 Company ( Formally Govberg Jewelers and Radcliff Jewelers) are raising funds for the Veterans Watchmaker Initiative in Odessa Delaware.
The DATE August 29, 2026 at 10:00 am. The Sparton Race location, Citizens Bank Park in Philadelphia, 1 Citizens Bank Way.
The great group of 1916 participants are put through A LOT to raise funds for VWI and hopefully you will support their efforts.

VWI managed to pull off a great graduation ceremony in spite of the rain. We had a very large crowd, bigger than expected and I was very glad everyone came out in spite of the weather.
A special shout out to Sen. Lisa Blunt Rochester, Sen. Kyra Hoffner and Councilman Brandon Toole for braving the weather to support the grads. Sen Blunt Rochester gave the keynote speech. She presented a challenge coin to each of the grads.
Chef Joe handled all the food, and it was exceptional.

As the Grad week continues to the graduation ceremony this Saturday. The students were invited to the Empire State Building in NYC to the Bulova / Citizen HQ for a PARTY for the graduates. Michael, Patty, Nicole, TJ and everyone at Bulova were so very gracious. Student presentations, breakfast, luncheon, trips to the roof of the Empire State building. Swag bags with jackets, hats and last but not least the New VWI Chrono watch for all the students.
They had a wonderful time. Thank you Bulova team for your hospitality.

The time has finally come. GRADUATION WEEK The students have labored for almost 2 years, and their graduation ceremony is Saturday May 23, 2026 @1:00 PM here at the school.
It's going to be a rather special event.
We are planning to live stream the entire ceremony, stand by for more information
