🌺 Our residents were able to go catch the poppy bloom in Mantua today. If you have never been, we highly suggest it.

Knowing the history makes it even sweeter: The poppies were planted by Danish pioneers in the 1860s as a reminder of the home they left behind. As we admired the colorful blooms, we couldn’t help but think of our residents and the many places, traditions, and memories that have made them who they are. Every flower has a story, just like every one of our residents.
