We are closed today, Friday, June 19th, in honor of Juneteenth. There will be no Friday services at the Olympia Food Pantry on the 19th.

Regular services will resume on Monday, June 22.

The South Puget Sound Community College Food Bank Satellite location is now operating on summer hours. They will be closed from June 16th to July 6th.

Beginning July 7th, SPSCC's satellite will be open on Tuesdays from 12 to 4 pm.

Did you know we can recycle your egg cartons? Our warehouse and both pantry locations can reuse your 12 pack, paperboard egg cartons, so drop them off at any of our locations!

A behind-the-scenes look at community care! 💙

City Manager Jay recently toured the Thurston County Food Bank's Olympia Food Pantry and met with the amazing staff who help keep this vital community resource running every day.

One thing that stood out? The Food Bank is currently seeing a high demand for feminine hygiene products, toilet paper, and basic toiletries. These everyday essentials can have a big impact on local families and individuals.

A huge THANK YOU to the Food Bank staff and volunteers who show up with compassion, dedication, and heart to serve our community. Their work makes a difference every single day.

SUN Bucks cards are being sent out soon! Questions about SUN Bucks or looking for help with the application? Check in with our Client Services Team!

Be on the lookout! Everyone who gets SUN Bucks is getting a new SUN Bucks card in 2026. Cards will be mailed to the address on file at DSHS, eligible kids’ school or the address listed on the SUN Bucks application. Be sure your address is correct at all locations and look for a new card in the mail in early June. More details are at dshs.wa.gov/sunbucks.
