Papio NRD board members, along with nearly 100 NRD directors and staff, toured the South Platte Basin and Perkins County Canal.

Each year attendees explore a different watershed offering a firsthand look at local conservation projects, natural resources challenges, and collaborative efforts that protect Nebraskaโ€™s water, soil, and wildlife resources.

Check out all the fun here: https://nebraskawildliferehab.org/patient-we**ams/nursery-13.html

In the coming months, we will be adding 3 more we**ams - 1 more here at the Center and two in our outdoor enclosures. We're still tweaking the formatting and over time, the patients in the nurseries will change, but for now, please enjoy just some of the babies we have the privilege of helping along their journies!

The Papio NRD is partnering with Bike Walk Nebraska on a statewide study exploring how trails impact Nebraskaโ€™s economy, health, and quality of life. ๐Ÿšถ๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿšด๐Ÿผโ€โ™€๏ธ

If you use or advocate for local trails, have a business alongside a trail, or oversee a trail system, please take a few minutes to provide input in support of the study. โœ๏ธ
