Fresh, local food for local families. Neighbors helping neighbors. Thank you, Three Rivers Community Farm! 🥬🍅💚

This year, Three Rivers Community Farm donated an incredible 3,895 pounds of fresh produce, including kale, cabbage, potatoes, tomatoes, peppers, lettuce, and broccoli, grown on their 8-acre vegetable farm in Elsah, IL, using organic growing practices. Their generous donation helps bring fresh, locally grown food to the tables of families throughout our region.

❤️ We're also grateful to the volunteers who dedicated their time and energy to glean these crops and help make this donation possible.

Keep the goodness growing! 🌱 You can support Three Rivers by shopping at their stand at the Tower Grove Farmers' Market every Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

Made with plain Greek yogurt, this lighter Alfredo-style sauce adds protein and flavor using simple ingredients you may already have on hand. It's an easy, budget-friendly meal for lunch or dinner.

Ingredients:
1 cup Plain Greek yogurt
1 cup Parmesan (best grated from the block)
1 Tbsp. Butter, unsalted
3 Garlic cloves
1 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. Parsley, dried
Salt, to taste
1 lb. Fettuccine pasta

Customize the dish with your favorite seasonal produce and protein (like zucchini and chicken) for an even more wholesome meal.

Today, we had some incredible volunteers roll up their sleeves and help fight hunger in the St. Louis area! 🧡

We were thrilled to welcome St. Louis Blues Hall of Famer and broadcaster Bernie Federko, along with our friends from PNC, who spent the afternoon sorting food drive donations and packing fresh carrots and beets gleaned from EarthDance Organic Farm School.

Operation Food Search relies on amazing volunteers like these to help us meet the immediate food insecurity needs of our neighbors. Every hour donated, every box packed, and every vegetable sorted makes a real difference in someone's day.
