Summer Reading Program 2026 Wrap-Up
This year we had 275 people sign up for the Summer Reading Program
200 people completed the requirements to earn certificates and coupons.
0-5 age group-49 finishers
6-11 age group-81 finishers
12-18 age group-19 finishers
Adults-51 finishers
Thank you to everyone who participated and to all parents, grand parents, day care providers and loved ones who brought your kids (and yourselves) to all of our programs. Thank you to Main Street Pizza and Buks Party Store for providing pizza and ice cream coupons. Thank you to Ovid-Middlebury Fire (Dan Lupu) for providing end of the year fun. Thank you to everyone who donated prizes or their time to help make our reading program a success. And also special thanks to Renee Denison for all of her volunteer time. We couldn’t do it without everyone’s help.

Hey kids Monday, August 17 is the last day of summer vacation. Come on in to the Ovid Public Library and celebrate the end of summer and the beginning of a new school year by getting a popsicle. We open at 10 and they will be available until we run out.
