Palmdale Sheriff's Station asks that you take time to participate in the Annual Deputy Ryan Clinkunbroomer Memorial Blood Drive. It will be held at Henry Mayo Newhall Hospital, 23803 McBean Parkway, in Valencia, from 8 AM - 6 PM, on Wednesday, October 14, 2026.

Donors at this drive will receive a $15 e-gift card when you come to give blood September 21- October 18.

Photo ID is required!

**HARD ROAD CLOSURE: AVOI**HARD ROAD CLOSURE: AVOI THE AREA**

The Palmdale Sheriff's Station is currently on scene assisting CHP - Antelope Valley with a Fatal Traffic Collision on 25th Street East and Pearblossom Hwy, in the city of Palmdale.

There is a hard road closure from the intersection of 25th Street East & Pearblossom Highway to the intersection of Sierra Highway & Pearblossom Highway.

This stretch of roadway will be closed for an unknown length of time, while this traffic collision can be investigated.

We ask that you find an alternate route until the road can be reopened.

Detectives from Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Palmdale Station are asking for the public’s help locating this At-Risk Missing Juvenile, Avery Marcella Rose Thomas. She was last seen on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., in the city of Palmdale.

Avery is a 12-year-old, female Hispanic, 4’07”, 145 lbs with straight brown hair, brown eyes birthmark on her left arm, scar on her left cheek and a scar on the bridge of her nose. She was last seen wearing a yellow shirt, grey shorts, and black shoes.

Avery’s family is concerned for her well-being.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department's Palmdale Station on-duty Watch Commander at (661) 272- 2400. Or they can contact Detective Villa at (661) 272-2400.
