⚾ Our FREE Adaptive Baseball Camp is here! We're offering a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment for youth ages 5 to 18 to learn the fundamentals of baseball!

📅 Wednesdays: September 2, 9, 16, and 23
📍 Progress Park (15500 Downey Ave.)
🕐 Ages 5 to 7 meet from 5 to 5:30 p.m.
🕐 Ages 8 to 11 meet from 5:35 to 6:05 p.m.
🕐 Ages 12 to 18 meet from 6:10 to 6:40 p.m.

Registration is open for Fall 2026 Swim Lessons at Paramount Park Pool! Whether your swimmer is just getting started or ready to build confidence in the water, there are flexible options for all ages and skill levels.

🏊‍♀️ Group Lessons: $14 per 30-minute class (ages 3+)
🏊‍♀️ Private Lessons: $27 per 20-minute class (all ages)
📅 Monday to Thursday: 4:30 to 7 p.m.
📅 Saturday: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.
📍 Paramount Park Pool, 14400 Paramount Blvd.

Monthly lessons meet once a week and are billed based on the number of days attended—perfect for families who need a flexible schedule!

☀️ Due to high temperatures expected this week, the cooling center at the Paramount Park Community Center is open today through Friday, August 28, from 12 to 5 p.m. This free resource is available to community members of all ages.

Alternatively, the Orange Splash Pad will feature extended hours today through Sunday, August 30. Located at 14618 Orange Ave., community members are invited to cool down from 12 to 5 p.m.

🧊 Get to know your neighbors while beating the heat! The Paramount Park cooling center will have games, water, and nutritious snacks, located at 14400 Paramount Blvd.
