🗓️ In observance of Juneteenth, City Hall and the City Yard will be closed on Friday, June 19.

The Paramount Sheriff’s Station will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be no street sweeping or makeup services on June 19. Regular trash pick-up service will proceed as scheduled.

there’s a reward for reporting the use or sale of illegal fireworks in ? If your tip leads to a citation or arrest, you could be eligible for a reward:
$500 for tips that lead to a citation for possession or use 💥
$1,000 for tips that lead to a citation for illegal sales 💥

We know parking can sometimes be tight, but saving parking spots on public streets using cones, trash cans or other items is not allowed. Public streets are for everyone.

Finding a spot can be tough, but parking on front lawns causes mud and poor water drainage.

This week's Parking 101 provides a quick refresher on 's residential rules:
Off-street parking must be on approved hard surfaces like concrete or asphalt 🏡
Vehicles cannot be parked on grass lawns or unpaved dirt patches 🛑
Exceptions may be made during authorized street sweeping times 🧹

🚧Maintenance work is being conducted on damaged water lines in the area of Somerset Boulevard and Orizaba Avenue. All traffic lanes on Somerset Boulevard will be temporarily closed so that the work may proceed. Please avoid the area, use alternate routes, and expect delays when traveling through the neighborhood.

Coyote safety starts in our own backyards, ! 🏡

Coyotes are naturally wary of people, but easy food and hiding spots can bring them closer to our homes. Taking a few simple steps can prevent unwanted encounters and keep everyone safe:

Never leave pet food outside and keep trash cans tightly sealed 🗑️
Keep cats indoors and supervise dogs closely when outdoors 🐾
If a coyote approaches, stand tall, wave your arms and shout 🗣️
