September is National Preparedness Month! 🚨

To make sure our community is ready, Paramount is conducting a citywide Emergency Notification System (Everbridge) test TOMORROW, Wednesday, September 2 at 10 a.m.

You will receive a test alert on your phone — no action is needed!

Disasters can happen at any time, so use this month to start prepping:

Heads up, ! 📱 We will conduct a citywide emergency notification system (Everbridge) test on Wednesday, September 2 at 10 a.m.

This routine public drill helps us test our Reverse 911 emergency alert system, which is crucial for delivering urgent information directly to residents' phones during disasters and emergencies. No action is required when you receive the test.

Our students are learning how to walk safely to school! 🚶

On Wednesday, August 5 and Thursday, August 6, Paramount Sheriff's Deputies and Paramount Public Safety staff held three Student Safe Walking Classes for the community. 👮

Students learned essential tips for crossing streets, staying alert and walking safely to and from school during a walking lesson to Lincoln Elementary.
