The City of Downey is proud to present the I Love Downey Festival on Saturday, September 19th from 3:00pm-8:00pm! This year, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of Downey’s incorporation!

Bring your family and friends to enjoy live bands, an art exhibition, a beer & wine garden, festival attractions, giveaways, community booths, locally loved grub and all there is to love about Downey! 💙🤗🧡

On the 8th, The Parks and Recreation Department is proud to support the GOOD Backpack Distribution event with games, crafts, and even a prize walk!

- Billiards Tournament: August 19th @ 9am | 50+

Fun fact! Did you know that you can actually fish at Wilderness Park? All you need is a fishing license! The Power of Nature is in fishing, taking time out of your day to be in a green space and reset and remind yourself to enjoy the little things in life. 🐟
