🎉 BIG NEWS FOR WILDCAT NATION! 🎉

Paris High School student Mary Grace Gibbons has been selected as a recipient of the Texas State Board of Education Student Heroes Award!

Mary Grace is one of only 15 students across the state of Texas chosen for this prestigious honor, which recognizes students who demonstrate exceptional leadership, volunteerism, and service to others.

Mary Grace earned this recognition through her creation of Mr. Marvin's Market, a community refrigerator initiative that helps reduce food insecurity and food waste while supporting both students and the community. Her compassion, creativity, and dedication to helping others have made a lasting impact at Paris High School and beyond.

She will be recognized by the Texas State Board of Education in Austin on June 26.

🏆 The moment is official! 🏆

A few weeks ago, we shared the exciting news that Chad Helberg had been selected for induction into the East Texas Athletic Trainers Association Hall of Honor. Now, we’re proud to celebrate the moment it became official!

Chad was formally inducted today and now takes his place on the association’s Wall of Honor, joining an elite group who have made a lasting impact on the profession.

As a founding member of the East Texas Athletic Trainers Association and a dedicated athletic trainer for the past 30 years, Chad has spent his career caring for student-athletes, supporting coaches, and helping generations of Wildcats stay healthy and compete safely.

This recognition is a testament to the countless hours, unwavering dedication, and genuine care he has given to students throughout his career.

Congratulations, Chad! Wildcat Nation is incredibly proud of you and grateful for the difference you’ve made in the lives of so many. 💙🐾

4th – 8th Grade

⚽️🔥 The competition is heating up at Soccer Camp 2026! 🔥⚽️

Our 4th–8th grade campers spent Day 1 sharpening their skills, learning new techniques, and competing in high-energy drills led by our high school coaches and Paris High School soccer players.

These athletes worked hard, challenged themselves, and showed great teamwork throughout the day. It's always exciting to see younger players learning from the Wildcats and Ladycats they look up to!

We can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. 💙🤍⚽️

Aikin Summer Library begins tomorrow 2:00-6:00!!! It’s all about fairy tales and fables this year, Tromp, Tromp over and have some fun!! (Disclaimer - we are working on Chromebook carts and the carpets haven’t been cleaned, so the room is a bit chaotic, but I promise your kids will enjoy this activity and checking out books!).

⚽️🌟 Future Ladycats and Wildcats are hitting the field! Pre-K - 3rd Grade 🌟⚽️

Day 1 of our 2026 Soccer Camp was full of energy, smiles, and skill-building as our Pre-K through 3rd grade campers learned the fundamentals of the game. From dribbling and passing to fun competitions and teamwork activities, these young athletes gave it their all!

One of the best parts of camp? Getting to learn from our high school coaches and some of their favorite Paris High School soccer players. The future of Wildcat soccer is looking bright! 💙🤍
