TRAFFIC ALERT
The Ukrainian Village Parade will kick off on Saturday 22 August 2026 at 11 am. The parade will run north on State Road from Grantwood to Pershing. State Road and Snow Road will be closed for the parade. Please come early for a good spot or avoid the area to prevent travel delays.

Ridge Road is closed both directions due to a water main break between Southington and Buckingham. Further details will be provided as we receive updates about repairs.

It is with great sadness that we share the news that former Parma Auxiliary Officer Jeff Lipp passed away today. He served for 16 years with the Auxiliary Police Unit. In 2017, he joined the Parma Regional Dispatch Center as a dispatcher. We knew he was always looking out for us on the other end of the radio. Rest easy Jeff.

Parma Cooling Center Open Tuesday:
Due to the forecasted high temperatures, the Donna Smallwood Activities Center at 7010 Powers Blvd., Parma, will open as a cooling center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., (or later if needed) on Tuesday, June 30. Residents of all ages are welcome to come in and cool down. Also, we are asking residents to please check on elderly neighbors and those without air conditioning. The Activities Center will remain as a cooling center throughout the week based on temperatures and demand.

The Parma Independence Day Parade will kick off at 10:00 am on Saturday 4 July 2026. Ridge Road from Snow to Powers and West Ridgewood Drive from West 54th to Ames will be closed from 9:45 am to approx. 12:30 pm. Come early for a good spot or avoid the area to prevent travel delays.
