Pevely Animal Control Animal control facility operated by the City of Pevely to offer services to citizens within the city. Our shelter is open Monday-Friday; hours may vary.

General Information
Our animal shelter is located at 501 Dunklin Industrial Drive in Pevely, Missouri. When our Animal Control Officer is out on duty, the shelter doors are closed until he returns. We don’t want to miss you, so please call for an appointment to visit the animals. What We Do

Become a Volunteer Foster Parent and experience the rewards of making a homeless animal feel wanted and loved. Foster Parenting ensures homes for the homeless animals that have behavior problems and need some help in training or medical attention. 👋 Hi, I'm Shadow! That's me right there... Aren't I adorable...

🐾 I guess this is where I introduce myself huh... Ok here we go...

🐶 My name is Shadow and I'm roughly 4-6 months old, I'm a Male, Heeler Mix! I am very playful but well behaved. I'm still a pup and learning, but I catch on very quickly. I'm ready for my new family!

👶 I'm good with kids!
🐕 I'm good with other animals!
👅 I love to give kisses!
🦴 I love to play!

💙 I would do well in any active household. A family with time and patience to teach me all I need to know. Somewhere where I can run, play and be very loved for ever and ever and ever.

👋 Meet Lassie and Theo!

ℹ️ Lassie is a black Female Border Collie.
ℹ️ Theo is a brown Male Border Collie.

🐶 Both of these pups are approximately 1-2 years old. They were found at large and despite our best efforts no one has come forward to claim them. They are now doing much better and ready to join your home!

👶 They are both good with kids!
🐕 They are both good with other animals!
👂 They are both loyal and listen very well!
🎾 They are both very sweet and playful!

💙 These pups have had a rough life and will need a little patience and training but they are eager to learn and will adapt well to any household. They dream of a home where they can thrive and grow, I home full of love and attention. They deserve a second chance. Lets make their dream a reality!

"We wanted to share a little update on Dobby (formerly Lucky)! He is full of energy, kisses, and personality. 💙

He's still getting used to his older sisters, Gwennie and Willow, but he's settling in nicely. He even loves watching TV—especially The Lion King! 🦁 He barked at 101 Dalmatians and growled at Cruella, which gave us a good laugh. 😂

His favorite toys are his tough chew ring and a bright yellow duck he carries everywhere. He starts training this weekend, and today he had the best zoomies around the fenced yard! The only catch? Someone has to stay outside with him, or he refuses to be out there alone. 🐕💨

He's growing so fast, and John and I love him more every day. We're so thankful he's part of our family!" ❤️🐾

Here she is, living her best life!

"We wanted to share a little update on "Lilly", now Hades! Our son picked the name, even though it doesn't quite fit her. 😂

She has brought so much love and happiness into our home and is the ultimate Velcro pup. She loves her daily walks, greeting everyone with tail wags and kisses, relaxing on the porch in the sunshine, and playing keep-away with towels in the backyard.

Her personality has truly blossomed, and every day we discover another reason to love her. She's already had her vet visits, is up to date on vaccines, and happily takes her preventatives with a spoonful of peanut butter (Her favorite treat)! 🥜🐶

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to bring Hades into our family. She has become such a special part of our lives, and we truly believe she found us just as much as we found her." ❤️🏡🐾

‼️ These guys are here at our facility and are in need of immediate transfer to a LICENSED RESCUE!

📝 These four kittens were picked up as strays. They are all roughly 3 months old. They are all bonded and from the same litter. They are socialized. They all need out of Animal Control A.S.A.P.

📲 If you are a LICENSED RESCUE and able to help these guys please contact Pevely Animal Control at 636-475-7405. Lets give these guys the second chance they deserve.
