On May 27, 2026, OPS’ Town Watch Integrated Services’ (TWIS) Delaire Landing Town Watch hosted a Senior Citizen Fraud Prevention Presentation led by Tanya Jeter (Phila FB Community Relations Agent).

The presentation provided community members with valuable information on recognizing, preventing, and responding to common fraud schemes targeting older adults.

On Saturday, May 16th, the Division of Criminal Justice (DCJ) and the Community Advisory Committee (CAC) hosted the “Youth & Young Adult Justice Impacted Community Resource Fair” at Eddie’s House, located at 60th & Market St. in Philadelphia.
 
The event welcomed nearly 200 attendees and featured resources from organizations across the city, including on-site work permit assistance for teens, mental health assessments, free lunches, activities for all ages, and so much more. 
 
Thank you to DCJ and all of the organizations, volunteers, and community members who made the day a success!

Starting on Thursday, June 4th, OPS’ Division of Reentry, in collaboration with the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Engagement, will begin its Parenting Skills group. 
 
The group will discuss effective communication, trauma & self-care, discipline vs punishment, alternatives to physical discipline, and more! Class will run every Thursday from 11 a.m.- 1 p.m. for 8 weeks at the Central Reentry Hub (1425 Arch Street). 
 
Please note that all classes are court-approved.
