Today, we celebrate an incredible milestone and honor a truly remarkable woman. After 60 years of dedicated service at JFK Hospital and JFK Medical Center, our longtime nurse Mary Wallace is retiring.

For six decades, Mary has cared for our members with compassion, skill, and unwavering commitment. She has been a steady, comforting presence for countless families, always offering kindness, reassurance, and exceptional care. Her impact on our union community is immeasurable, and her legacy will live on in every life she touched.

While we are saddened to see her retire, we are filled with gratitude for her extraordinary service and the love she poured into her work every single day. Mary, thank you for being a source of strength, comfort, and healing for our members for 60 unforgettable years.

We wish you joy, rest, and all the happiness you deserve in your retirement. You will forever be part of the DC33 family.

💚 Congratulations, Mary Wallace.
💚 Thank you for 60 years of service.

In Loving Memory of Brother Antonio S. Daniels:

It is with deep sadness that we honor the life and legacy of Brother Antonio S. Daniels, who passed away on June 30, 2026.

Brother Antonio faithfully served the City of Philadelphia for 14 years as a Correctional Security Guard at the Youth Study Center. Throughout his years of service, he demonstrated unwavering dedication, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to those he worked alongside.

Brother Antonio was more than a dedicated employee; he was a kind and compassionate brother who never complained about any assignment and was always willing to lend a helping hand. He was dependable, supportive, and always had your back. His positive attitude, loyalty, and faithfulness made him an exceptional officer and an even better friend and colleague.

Brother Antonio, you will be deeply missed. Your DC 33 family is grateful for your years of faithful service and honored to have had the privilege of working alongside you. We extend our heartfelt condolences to your family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.

May you rest in eternal peace, and may your legacy of service, kindness, and dedication continue to inspire all who knew you.
