Maternity Care Coalition

Maternity Care Coalition Strengthening families, inspiring change.

Since 1980, Maternity Care Coalition has assisted more than 160,000 families throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania, focusing particularly on neighborhoods with high rates of poverty, infant mortality, health disparities, and changing immigration patterns. We know a family’s needs change as they go through the pregnancy and their child’s first years and we offer a range of services and programs for every step along the way.

Too many children in Pennsylvania are still impacted by poverty.

According to PolicyLab at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, hundreds of thousands of kids are facing real financial strain, which can limit their access to stable housing, nutritious food, and consistent health care. But it doesn't have to be this way.

Strong economic security policies can make a meaningful difference for children and caregivers across Pennsylvania. Please take a moment to learn more in PolicyLab's report: https://bit.ly/4fnFWFb

Support starts with meeting people where they are. 💜

Substance use disorder can affect anyone, and no one should have to navigate pregnancy or parenting alone. At Maternity Care Coalition, our advocates provide compassionate, judgment-free support, helping families connect with resources, care, and services that meet their unique needs.

Healing happens in community, and every family deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion.

If you or someone you know could benefit from support, we're here to help at https://bit.ly/3X7BjET

Good news: There's major momentum for paid family leave in Pennsylvania, where they recently passed paid leave in their state house – but now they need to get it through the State Senate.

Can you help win paid family and medical leave for over 4 million Pennsylvanians? If you live in Pennsylvania, your leaders need to hear from you! Our partners at Children First have made it easy. Click here to send an email to Pennsylvania lawmakers urging them to pass paid leave:
