Yesterday, the Kinney Center team was proud to attend the Saint Joseph's University Collegiate Recovery Conference, where we connected with professionals dedicated to supporting student success with the best practices in collegiate recovery.

We were excited to share CLASS—our online, self-paced professional development course that equips university staff and faculty with practical strategies for engaging and supporting students on the autism spectrum. By increasing understanding and confidence, CLASS helps create more inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive.

Camp Kinney's 2026 Talent Show was a hit! Campers took the stage to sing, dance, and perform comedy skits.

This week, Camp Kinney welcomed the incredible Adam the Amazing! 🎩Campers watched variety of mind-boggling tricks, from impressive card magic to incredible sleight of hand. 🃏🐇

How does he do it? A magician never reveals their secret! 🤫 One thing isn't a mystery... our campers were full of smiles, laughter, and excitement! ✨

The hawk brought Saint Joseph's University spirit to Camp Kinney! 🦅

Last week, campers and SCHOLARS had the exciting opportunity to meet SJU's iconic mascot. Known for never stopping its signature wing flap, the hawk spread school spirit with plenty of high-fives, hugs, and smiles.❤️

Time Flies! It's the second to last week at Camp Kinney! Campers are having so much fun and making memories. HUGE shout out to our SCHOLARS and OPS SCHOLARS for facilitating camp activities and making all of this possible. From Waterplay to Workout Wednesday to Sports & Rec, there's always something exciting happening at Camp Kinney. We can't wait to see what next week brings! ☀️😁

Abracadabra! Today at Camp Kinney, campers got to meet the amazing Mr. Christerious! All groups witnessed this incredible magician perform a variety of different tricks. 🪄

From hat tricks to card tricks and even ball tricks! Whether you believe in magic or not, you can't deny that campers were filled with joy all afternoon! ✨🎩

During Week 3 of Camp Kinney, campers met Ms. Nilda, who led an immersive Spanish lesson for Groups 1 and 2. She brought the lesson to life through movement and visuals while keeping the campers and their SCHOLARS active using a variety of multi-sensory tools.

The lesson featured a Spanish greeting song, counting to ten, anatomy practice with a Mr. Potato Head, and a story about forest animals.

To wrap up the lesson, the campers learned colors while dancing with vibrant scarves. Thank you Ms. Nilda!💙
