🍟❤️💙 McTeachers Night Was a HUGE Success! 💙❤️🍟

We kicked off our first big PTO event of the year with McTeachers Night! 🎉🍔

A BIG thank you to all of our JJ families who came out to enjoy dinner, play, connect, and meet some new families! ❤️💙 Our teachers always love seeing our Jags out in the wild! 🐆😂

🌟 Shoutout to our amazing PTO for hosting this fun event and helping bring our JJ community together!

🎉 And congratulations to Skyler, our lucky winner of the $25 gift card! 💰🍟

A special thank you to Scott and his team at McDonald’s on 43rd Avenue & Thunderbird for welcoming our Jags, supporting our school, and helping us raise money for JJ! ❤️💙

Throwing it back to Meet the Teacher Night last week when we welcomed our new Jags and welcomed our returning Jags back to campus! 📚✨ It was so much fun seeing students meet their teachers, explore their classrooms, and get ready for a brand-new school year. 🏫🎉

And now… we’ve already almost made it through our first week of school! 🙌 We’ve had such a wonderful start and are so excited for all the learning, growth, friendships, and JJ Magic ahead! ✨🐆

We welcomed our staff back last week as we kicked off preparations for an incredible 2026–2027 school year! 📚✨

Here’s a quick introduction to most of our amazing JJ staff… because apparently some of our Jags are a little camera shy! 📸😂

We’ve been busy planning, preparing, learning, and getting everything ready—and we cannot wait to see our Jags TOMORROW! 🎉

Our fabulous Parent Teacher Organization will hosting a Boo-hoo Breakfast Monday, August 10 from 7:10am-7:45am in the cafeteria. They will be serving light refreshments and coffee. Stop by and meet our board, staff and other parents after dropping your student off in their classroom. This will be for parents only due to the new Arizona Healthy Schools Act policies that were put into effect for the 26/27 school year.

📚✏️ 2026–2027 School Supply Lists ❤️💙🐆

It’s almost time to get ready for another amazing year at John Jacobs Elementary! 🎉

Our school supply lists are optional, and we are so grateful for every donation our families are able to provide. ❤️ These supplies help our teachers stock classrooms and make materials last throughout the entire school year for all of our Jags.

📝 Here’s how the supply lists are organized:

🎒 Supplies may be brought to Meet the Teacher Night or on the first day of school—whatever works best for your family!

🏷️ One important reminder: Please label your child’s backpack and water bottle with their name. Arizona temperatures are still HOT ☀️, and our refillable water bottle stations help keep our Jags hydrated all day long! 💧
