We take a special interest in our 65 and older Veteran population. We will ensure our Veterans are in a safe environment and can help them find suitable housing based on their needs. We can also coordinate add

Once our Veterans are in a safe environment and they have the medical care they need, we will assist them apply for the benefits they have earned. We will assist Veterans with VA enrollment, appointments, pension, disability, and compensation claims.

We enjoyed a special luncheon with our Veterans at Acoya Mesa Senior Living in Arizona.

Veterans from every branch and across generations came together over a meal to share stories, laughter, experiences, and camaraderie.

Today was a powerful reminder of the strength of connection. We sincerely appreciate the Acoya staff for providing a welcoming space and luncheon for our senior Veterans to gather. We are also deeply grateful for our dedicated volunteers who continue to support and uplift Veterans, no matter where they call home.

Minimizing barriers to Veterans’ care on RED Shirt Friday!

Navy Veteran and Veterans Affinity volunteer Anita Jones visited a Navy Vietnam Veteran living in a rural area to provide one-on-one assistance with U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) applications. Along the way, they connected through shared stories and experiences, strengthening their bond as fellow Sailors.

Many thanks to Anita for leading the way, going the extra mile, and taking care of her fellow Sailor. Her compassion and personal outreach help ensure distance is not a barrier to the care and benefits Veterans have earned.

Another great turnout this morning as we connected with Veterans and their Families in Mesa, Arizona.

Nearly 100 Veterans joined us for meaningful conversations, shared stories, and camaraderie as we proudly welcomed seven new members into the Veterans Affinity Family.

What an impressive turnout at our Veteran Social in Goodyear, Arizona!

More than 70 Veterans joined us, and we proudly welcomed 11 new members into the Veterans Affinity Family. Together, we shared stories, built connections, and ensured every Veteran felt valued and remembered.

Our conversations focused on navigating VA healthcare, the 72-hour emergency notification requirement, understanding VA and Medicare benefits, and the importance of joining Veteran Service Organizations to strengthen camaraderie.

We proudly sponsored Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) memberships for three Vietnam Veterans and helped two fellow Veterans complete their Phoenix VA Health Care System enrollment applications, turning commitment into meaningful action. Less HOOAH. More DOOAH!

Thank you to our wonderful host, Terri Flowers, and Vietnam Veterans Doug Leach and Paul Reichenbach for helping fellow Veterans with VA and VSO applications. Your service and commitment strengthens our Veteran community.
