One last look at our 2026 Homecoming house on Bowman Field!

After two incredible weeks of construction, it's time for the house to leave campus and begin the next chapter of its journey toward becoming a home.

We're grateful to the Clemson students, faculty, staff, skilled professionals, local businesses, and volunteers who came together to make this year's Homecoming Build possible.

But our Clemson Habitat students aren't finished yet! They'll continue working alongside our future homeowners through the remaining stages of construction.

Thank you to everyone who helped bring us this far. We can't wait to share what comes next!

Rivals on the football field, partners in service!

Yesterday, we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Virginia Tech's Habitat for Humanity Campus Chapter to Clemson's Homecoming Build.

One of the things that makes Habitat special is its ability to bring people together, united by a shared commitment to building stronger communities by expanding access to affordable homeownership.

We're grateful to the Virginia Tech students who traveled to Clemson to work alongside our Tigers. It's a wonderful reminder that even the fiercest rivalries can take a back seat when there's an opportunity to serve others.

Of course, today is game day, so all bets are off.

It's Homecoming game day at Clemson, but one of our favorite traditions still has one big moment ahead!

Tomorrow, the house that has risen on Bowman Field over the past two weeks will begin it's journey to Erin Lane in Pickens, where the next phase of construction begins. Our volunteers will continue working alongside the future homeowners to turn everything accomplished on campus into a finished home.

As Clemson celebrates Homecoming today, we're celebrating the students who have carried this tradition forward and the lasting impact their work will have right here in Pickens County.

A time-lapse can capture the construction of a house in seconds. What it can't fully capture is the extraordinary spirit of service that makes this Clemson tradition possible.

For Pickens County Habitat for Humanity, our partnership with Clemson University represents something deeply valuable: a university community that consistently puts its talent, knowledge, leadership, and resources to work in service of others.

That commitment is reflected in the students who take ownership of this project, the faculty and staff who support them, and the alumni and community partners who return year after year. Together, they demonstrate how service can become part of an institution's identity and create a lasting impact far beyond campus.

We are proud of our longstanding partnership with Clemson University and grateful for a university community that continues to demonstrate what it means to serve.
