Apparently, Mr. Hare thought he could outrun the tortoise. Unfortunately for him, he forgot one important detail. The tortoise doesn't have to be faster. He just has to keep coming.

It is alleged that Mr. Hare has made multiple trips to a local retailer and allegedly helped himself to more than $3,000 worth of merchandise. That may have seemed like a pretty good head start, but here's the problem, Mr. Hare: We're catching up.

The Pineville Police Department now has a felony warrant for Tylor Hare's arrest and want to remind everyone how the story ends.

We are just as excited as everyone else about the new recreational area at Fort Buhlow Recreation Area, but we want to remind the public that the area is still under construction and is not yet open for use.

Weโ€™ve seen videos circulating of individuals already discovering the new area, and we were also contacted today regarding locals accessing the property. While we completely understand the excitement, construction is still ongoing, and the area must remain closed until the project is fully completed and officially opened.

This new addition is going to be a wonderful asset to our community, and weโ€™re looking forward to everyone being able to enjoy it! Until then, we ask for your patience and cooperation in staying out of the construction area for everyoneโ€™s safety.

It wonโ€™t be much longer! We canโ€™t wait to see the finished product and enjoy it together as a community. The Red River Waterway Commission has invested a tremendous amount of time, funding, and effort into making this project a reality, and we want to make sure they have the opportunity to see it through to completion.

Weโ€™ve waited this long, letโ€™s hang in there just a little while longer! It will be well worth the wait.
