Thanks for stopping by!! Over the weekend we had a Special Guest Grace our Library! Our First Follower Ever stopped by!! She traveled a few hours across the state to get here!! (She had other reasons to be in town, but did stop by to say Hi) Thanks so much for stopping by and for filling the box up with goodies!! Can't wait to see ya next time!! 😍 Gillian Brown

She's Back! Well, replaced! It's not the original, however, like the original, she's just ornamental! Just decorative! The original was stolen on May 30th. I didn't realize how many people actually noticed her, until I got a lot of questions about her disappearance! So, introducing useless telephone 2.0! 😉😁

I stopped by Stella's Snack Shack (Shaler Pet Pantry) tonight! I donated some cans of cat food and brought home a Cod Skin Treat, a bookmark, and a cat toy! I absolutely love this place! The good intentions, time, and energy it takes to run a cabinet like this is like having a full time job! It is so much appreciated by myself and the community! Thank you, Stella's, for showing up and helping the community! This is not like the other cabinets I've been to, you don't necessarily have to donate in order to take something in return, but it is appreciated! I, personally, like it to try new treats before I buy them! The Cod Skin was not a hit with my cats! However, the Beagle, next door, had a different opinion! He loved it! 😁 Stella's is not on the SidewalkJoy Map, but you can Google it to find it! Donations are welcome, there is a box for them underneath the Shack! You can also donate by sending an Amazon Order or Money. In the cabinet, there are signs that state Limits as to how much you can take of each item! Please 100% follow those limits if you stop by!! Last night,I stopped at the Little Free Art Library in Sharpsburg, PA! They had some awesome art displayed! I ended up taking home a Praying Mantis! I absolutely love her!! She will hang on the wall in my dining room! Again, I didn't have anything with me, so I left behind a tiny canvas and easel! Next Time, I'll leave some art!!

We have a Back 2 School Bundle to Giveaway to the First person to respond! The catch is... You must be able to PICK IT UP, in Pittsburgh, PA, by Sunday 8/23/26! After Sunday, it will go into the Puzzle and Game Closet for someone else to claim! Bring some Trinkets to Trade while you're here!!

It's Black Cat Appreciation Day! Since we have 2.5 Black Cats, we'll be celebrating 🎉 with Black Cat Stickers, Pins, and Cat Grass at the library! If you stop by, be sure to look for Ace, Jack, and Rosco P. Coltrane in the window!!

The 2 new places that I stopped at yesterday were The Pineal Garden Station in Aliquippa and The Ge**er Ave. Little Free Library with an Art Gallery in Brighton Heights! At the Pineal Garden Stand, I left seeds, a plant cutting, bouquet, homegrown beans and cucamelons, and 2 plants (lettuce and cat grass). and brought home 2 pepper plants. It is the only other Pineal Garden Stand around here. I'm not sure if it has a name or is on Social Media. At the Little Library and Art Gallery I left 3 books and took 3 books. I didn't have any art on me, so I left behind 2 ducks that I glued accessories to and a pair of earrings that I made. Not exactly art or even real talent, but it's all I had with me! However, I did bring home an awesome handdrawn picture and pin. I'm going to frame the picture and either hang it in my dining room or hallway! The variety at the library was awesome and the art gallery was my favorite! Honestly, the best I've been to! I'll be back with real art, at some point!! Curtis Free Library
